Oleksandr Hrushko

Graduated from Vinnytsia State Technical University in 1997 with degree in specialization "Automobiles and Automotive Industry"; qualification - Master of Mechanical Engineering.
In 2001 defended Ph.D. In 2013 defended doctoral dissertation on speciality 05.03.05 "Processes and machines for pressure treatment". Thesis topic - "Development of Phenomenological Basics of Creating Metals and Alloys Charts Applied to the Processes of Cold Forming ".
Total work experience of scientific and teaching activities is 23 years (at VNTU).
6 years (2014-2020) served as Head of the Institute of Master's, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies at VNTU on voluntary basis.
Author of 11 textbooks and 1 distance courses.
Scientific supervisor of 3 candidates of technical sciences (PhD).
Responsible performer of 4 state budget research projects (2013-2019), scientific supervisor of 1 state budget research work (2019-2021). Scientific supervisor of 5 contractual topics (2016-2021).
Member of 2 specialized academic councils for defense of candidate and doctoral dissertations at Vinnytsia National Technical University and Donbass State Machine-Building Academy.
Member of editorial board of 2 scientific publications included in list of scientific publications in Ukraine.
Author of over 130 scientific publications, 5 monographs.
Organized 5 scientific and technical conferences at VNTU (“Youth in Sciences” - research, problems, prospects) (2016-2021).
Participated in certification of scientific workers as an official opponent of dissertation research (8 times).
Project Manager of European Union Erasmus+ Program "Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc/MSc Degrees" at VNTU (2017-2021).
As guest researcher stayed at University for Continuing Education Krems with the research topic «Models for the mechanical properties of polycrystalline magnetic materials» from 06/2022 to 08/2022. The research stay was funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences within the framework of the academic mobility programme "Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities".
Expert in the mechanical testing of materials with different rheology; research of mechanical properties of materials; applied plasticity theory, fracture of materials under large plastic deformations, strength calculations, rigidity and stability calculations; FEM calculations.
